We built Limestone Creek Ranch as a warm, beautiful place for families to gather, and we want to share it with others. You can see that dedication in the design, too. The architecture itself creates a link between the old and the new, and that reflects our vision for the ranch—to bring multiple generations of families under one roof. As for the location, we like to think of it as summer camp for family. Big, communal dining areas and open kitchens make meals a focal point. There are plenty of places to duck away and hide with a good book, too. In the summer, cookout on the front patio and watch as red-tailed hawks fly by to show off the trout in their talons. This is family time in a most natural setting.
The ranch’s sleeping arrangements offer a uniquely fun family experience. The Gathering Lodge’s bunkhouse on the west end of the lodge features two separate rooms with bathrooms and individual closet space. Each room—one with boys in mind and the other for girls—offers four bunk beds and loft space, as well as individual space for clothes and shoes. Two more bedrooms with king beds and ensuite in each are on the east wing. The separate Creek Cabin features a full-kitchen, dining area, living space and four bedrooms, each with an ensuite.
We understand the need to stay connected, which is why wifi is provided throughout the property (except for the lower pond). Cell service can be spotty, but it is reliable on the eastern side of the property. Satellite television with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and other modern distractions are available. There is a PlayStation 4 in the game room, but we can hide that prior to your arrival if you let us know.
Bozeman has a number of highly-rated personal chefs and catering services, which will cater to your family’s tastes and dietary needs. The chef’s kitchen in the Gathering Lodge can tame any appetite. We are happy to recommend our top picks for these services. If your crew chooses to make their own meals together, we are happy to discuss stocking the ranch with plenty of provisions ahead of your arrival.
When we gather here with our family, we honestly don’t want (or need) to leave. The lower pond has a floating trampoline, and we have a number of other water toys like kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The pond’s pavilion also features an outdoor theater. We built a game room complete with foosball, air hockey and an old-fashioned pinball. Got a competitive side? Test your skills with lawn games like horseshoes, cornhole, and ladder toss. And nothing beats our night sky. Watch the Milky Way explode with shooting stars as you relax in the eight-person outdoor jacuzzi once the kids are in bed.
With the ranch as your home base, we encourage you to explore our surrounding wonderland. Go ride horses, hike up to the top of Sacajawea Peak, explore Yellowstone National Park, check out downtown Bozeman—the list of fun things to do is only limited by your imagination. We are happy to recommend local activities based on your interests. Bozeman and the surrounding area offers more than enough adventure for anyone.
